Mid Jan - How It All Began
Sometime mid Jan, crisis hit the United States of America. As the situation worsened, masks, sanitizers and toilet paper were some of the products that started disappearing from shelves across the country.
What was available was being sold at exorbitant prices. Our employees just like everybody else were also struggling. Which is when we decided to alleviate their hardship a bit by preparing a hand sanitizer in-house.
We are a local skincare lab in California which did made things a wee bit easy.
February 18, 2020 - The Journey
Little did we know then that something we created for the security and well-being of our team would soon become a household name.
It started with our employees carrying these little canisters home and sharing them with immediate neighbors. What caught people’s attention was that unlike other sanitizers, Sunytizer did not dry the skin.
Well, people are always at the heart of everything we do, so we’d created a hand sanitizer that would also moisturize the skin while tackling the germs.
So, unlike the other hand sanitizers, Sunytizer leaves your hands supple and soft.
February 25, 2020 - Community At The Core
We are a small business and community is at the core of everything we do. We are a local skincare laboratory in California.
Sunytizer is made and packed in the USA with locally sourced ingredients. We cared, so we created a hand sanitizer that was strong yet gentle. One that hands down kills 99% of the germs while also taking care of your skin.
We employ people from the local community because we believe in giving back and we are responsible for securing their future.
March 10, 2020 - We Have Your Back Or Rather Your Hands
We are a small business and while we stand in solidarity with the community at large we are also responsible for the people that work for us.
Which is why Sunytizer is priced at a nominal cost with bare margin after factoring in costs of components that are sourced from within the USA itself, laboratory costs, packing and shipping.
In a lot of cases, where the shipping costs are high, we are actually taking a loss but still maintaining the price, so that our customers are not burdened.
March 19, 2020 - The Road Ahead
With Los Angeles County joining a growing number of jurisdictions around the country in ordering residents to stay inside their homes and limit nonessential activities our operations have taken a hit.
We are experiencing major difficulties in getting the raw materials required, our warehouses and the laboratory are shut and shipping is a nightmare. We are unsure about the long run but in the here and now we are doing all we can to ensure Sunytizer remains available.
We spent most of last night manually packing batches of Sunytizer so they are ready for shipping.
March 26, 2020 - A Night of Shipping
Our VP spent last night packing hand sanitizers for shipment.
We just want you to know that we are right here besides you in this time of crisis and that we care. So even though our operations are limited, we are still trying our level best to ensure that the product continues to be available to you at a very nominal price.
March 31, 2020 - This Too Shall Pass
It’s been one crazy roller coaster ride. We have continued to do everything we can to ensure Sunytizer is still available. With orders piling up and with most of the team working from home, a couple of us have been working round the clock at the warehouse.
It wouldn’t be wrong to surmise that we are overwhelmed. But we are optimistic that this too shall pass.
April 02, 2020 - So Far So Good
We are finally catching up!! After days and nights of packing and shipping we are seeing the horizon. We are close to getting back on track. Looking back, we never did think we’d come this far but for the sake of your hands we’re glad we did.
It wouldn’t have been possible without the support and encouragement we got from our community of customers. We appreciate and are grateful. Only goes to show that together we can.
April 10, 2020 - Oh! No!
We're out of stock again – So it’s back to drawing board and as we pull up our sleeves, we kind of know we are looking at another all-nighter. So, in spite of all the limitations and obstacles we are trying to ensure that we bring this back ASAP.
April 11, 2020 - We Are Soldering On
We are one day into manufacturing again!! The routine we’ve established is manufacture all day then it’s packing, prepping and shipping all evening. Pots of coffee and power naps keep us going. We are so tempted to stop but looking at the number of people counting on us to deliver, eggs us on. On that note, I do hope that the Easter bunny leaves us some eggs. I’d sure love a swiss chocolate one at that.
April 12, 2020 - Looks Like We've Hit Another Roadblock
It seems the world is out of bottles!! I’ve spent hours on the phone trying in vain to get
4 oz bottles but they are nowhere to be found. It’s looking like we’re going to be spending Easter at the lab after all. So much for wishing for some Easter eggs. If only the bunny would consider paying us a visit here.
After a lot of deliberation, we are going ahead with 3.4 oz bottles for the new batch even though they are priced higher than the 4 oz bottles we’ve used so far. To our way of thinking, something is always better than nothing. Not ideal I know but in the current scenario, we can’t afford to be choosy. Our priority is to ensure Sunytizer is available to anyone who needs it.
April 14, 2020 - Just Bear With Me
Apologies for my tardiness in responding to your calls and messages. It seems I am always behind. Since ours is a very small operation it is getting difficult to take care of all aspects. But i assure you, Sunytizer is not an illusion. Your product will dispatch within the promised time, just bear with me.
You can always reach me on Facebook PM and emails and phone messages. Family helps out with these so it makes my life a wee bit easier.
Most of my time is spent at the lab, but I am doing my darndest to ensure that I reach out to many of you as possible on Facebook comments. Please bear with me in the interim. I promise to address every message or email in 24 hours.
April 19th, 2020 - The Show Must Always Go On!
Unfortunately, the world has managed to run out of pumps. How??? I wish I knew. I know you prefer those to other bottle caps(I do too!) but I just can't manage to get my hands on those handy little ones right now.
Worry not, my fellas, I will make sure that the new packaging doesn't disappoint you - and I promise you I will try my best to bring them back.
After putting a lot of thought into the packaging, our new bottles will have a standard flip cap -because we realized it doesn't matter how good our product looks as much as it does good- and it is much more important to send our product to all those in need.
April 26, 2020 - Let's Kick(Starter) Some Ass!
Since this quarantine life has become the new norm and having personally interacted with our audience, I realized that right now, it isn't just about ourselves - it's also about our children, our homes, our cars, every single thing we touch, including our animals and pets. This led me to a decision - I decided to tweak my formulation just enough to improve it and guess what? I managed to develop an entirely new formula!
What's unique about this new formula is that is an all-purpose solution that can be used on skin and surface!
I have already tested the formulations and they work brilliantly but since we are still just a small business, I will need your help to bring this line of purifying products to life - you can head over to our Kickstarter project to get started!
May 1, 2020 - Everything But The Dog!
Ever thought you could just use ONE sanitizer for your skin, surfaces and surroundings?
Yep, that never crossed my mind too...until now. When I started working on a new formulation, the only thought running through my mind was, "How can I make this formula more efficient?"
We realized that there wasn't formula in the market that could provide a respite from having to carry a hand sanitizer, a surface spray AND sundry and so our newest launch (*drumroll*, please!!), The Hand & Surface Spray is an all-purpose solution that works effectively on skin as well as Anything and Everything you come in contact with - from doors, to cars to elevator buttons to gym equipment to everything else!

May 8, 2020 - Not Just Another Hand Cream!
With the world in throes of sanitizing and washing their hands, we thought there was a need for a product that did not dry out skin, especially after sanitizing!
I mean, first a global pandemic, then the quarantine...the last thing we need on our minds or rather hands, right now is dry skin.
And so began the quest to find the treasure - or rather the answer to moisturized skin! And what a journey it has been...
I made sure to focus on dry and flaky skin and this Hand Cream for Sanitized Hands was the reward of this particular quest of mine - it is specifically formulated for dry hands, to soothe skin from constant sanitizing and keeps it soft and fresh for a very long time!
How about we don't skip our hand creams this time, eh?
May 14, 2020 - This One's For The Dog!
Does your best friend have fur and a tail? Mine does too! I was having a really rough time keeping my buddy clean and that's when I thought, "Why not work on a product that will keep our furry friends clean and hygienic too, especially after a walk or a day out with the family?
As tough as it is for us to keep our houses clean, I have found it even more stressful trying to find products that are harmless for our pets. And so, I present you with a rinse-free and non-toxic Pet Spray that will keep your pets fresh and healthy throughout the day - and keep those irksome fleas and ticks at bay!

May 19, 2020 - Looks Like We're In Luck!
We have a surprise for you! We went around the world looking in every nook and cranny for pumps and guess what? Our hard work and dedication to fulfill our promise to you finally paid off and we finally found them!
It took us only a month (plus a whole lot of digging for contacts and numbers that we had forgotten even existed, phew!) But all that matters to us is you, our customer. Looking forward to your happy faces and comments when you open your Sunytizer package; and don't forget to send us a picture on social media - it only motivates us more and more every second while we're busy at work!

May 22, 2020 - A Herculean Task
It was not easy and it took us MONTHS of hard work, dedication and love for what we do for us to get here. The last 2-3 weeks saw us folks at Sunytizer clocking in 18+ work hours, day and night shifts and it almost felt like a Herculean task that would never get over but FINALLY we are all caught up.
I can finally breathe in peace...at least until I have to hop back on to my work (which is right after I post this, haha). Now, we are happy to say that your product WILL ship in 3-4 days.
I thank you, not only for your patience but also for your continued faith in us and what we do.
